Role Description 

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Cloud Infrastructure and Mobility Presales Engineer at FPG Technologies & Solutions in Lagos, with flexibility for some remote work. The Presales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, conducting presales activities, integrating solutions, ensuring security compliance, and supporting the sales team in presenting solutions to clients. 

Qualifications

• Presales and Sales experience 

• Strong understanding of Security practices 

• Excellent communication and presentation skills 

• Experience in cloud infrastructure and mobility solutions 

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively 

• A minimum of 4-5years of related experience as a CIM Presales Engineer in a reputable IT firm with record of accomplishment in this role. 
• Experience working in mixed Windows/Linux, database and virtualized/physical server environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 

• Possess a solid technology knowledge of Cloud, Infrastructure and Mobility solutions, and deep knowledge of different OEM products to support solution write ups, product features, benefits, capabilities and comparative analysis among competing products/OEM`s.
• Engage in a presales technical consultancy role to provide technical assistance and guidance during the presales/sales process by identifying customers technical and business requirements prior to designing a solution.
• Provide adequate support to the Sales team and drive the business through effective Presales Engagement in order to achieve set revenue targets. 
• Articulate the Company’s technology and product portfolio and position it to both business and technical users.
• Consult with technical teams about capabilities and support the business in cross-functional projects to drive organizational advancement.
• Communicate technical information to non-technical staff in a way that is easy to understand.
• Knowledge of backup & recovery and monitoring (infrastructure, application, network etc.) solutions.
• Demo/POV/POC.
