Senior Sales Manager – Lagos

Lagos, Nigeria - Hybrid, Full Time

Role Description

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (MBA
is a plus).
• Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in IT sales, with at least 3 years in a senior
sales or leadership role.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the IT sector.
• Strong understanding of IT solutions including cloud, cybersecurity,
infrastructure, software, and managed services.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and navigate complex sales cycles.
• Strong network of enterprise and government contacts within Nigeria is a
significant advantage.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets across the
Lagos and West Africa region.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in enterprise, government, and
SME sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and
stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the local sales team to meet individual and team
sales targets.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to senior
management.
• Collaborate with the marketing, pre-sales, and technical teams to tailor
solutions to client needs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and
competitor activities.
• Negotiate and close complex deals involving software, hardware, and IT
services.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and account retention.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
