The personal goals I set for yourself at the onset of my internship was to fully understand the designing concept on FIGMA, and make a whole lot of logos using Adobe photoshop/COREL DRAW. I was able to achieve this and more. My working with FPG Technologies & Solutions LTD was a really fun experience, besides the fact it was from home so I didn’t get the full experience I was supposed to get, but in the mean time I know I learnt a lot .. they were a lot of things I didn’t know that I know now.
I was able to gain hands-on experience during my internship with FPG, I assisted with some projects, and I have gained some essential skills and qualifications to work with some solutions. FPG work environment is very suitable for me, and also the nature of work and the type of solutions. learnt a lot of things in the areas of networking, infrastructure, and security. It provided a lot of room for self-improvement and the building of qualifications for future work. I also learnt more about working with others and some work ethics. I would most-definitely love to return
The internship was a highly educative experience. It enabled me to get used to the formal working environment. It also exposed me to new trends in the industry. I planned to improve my skills in Java and software development. I also planned to get more familiar with more software development tools when I joined FPG, and I was able to work with VSCode and learnt backend development with Springboot. I was also able to work with databases like mysql and mongodb. Would love to work with FPG again.
I worked and learnt from the best team in the world. A team full of talents, enthusiasts and dedicated individuals. I was given the freedom to learn and do my job with the motivation of always giving my best for the company. My boss gives me timely tasks and constructive feedbacks when necessary. Anytime I get jobs done, he always applauds me. That’s enough motivation for me.
I was able to have my NCP certification with FPG, which I can boldly say I can now deploy a Nutanix Node and also acquire the knowledge of windows server 2016 which I can also boldly administer. The experience as be very great so far. FPG Technologies &Solutions Limited is a nice place to learn and build a career in the industry. A place just like home with a happy family around. I love and enjoy my stay with them.
My personal goals set out was to improve my technical skills.
I learnt how to manage a data center, I learnt how to work with people. I also learnt how to report back when given a task. I will love to work with FPG again because I love the way they work to improve everyone, the way we communicate with each other, the love that everyone has for each other.
Internship at FPG has been such a wonderful one. From the day one to the last day. I was lucky to find myself in a unit of people who welcomed me with open arms most especially in the field of ICT, the people in the software unit opened my eyes to a lot of things which I might not have learnt on my own. Staffs from other unit were so accommodating too, I wasn’t overlooked or treated like an outsider. They all made me feel so welcome. I came into FPG as a newbie in the field of Software Development but I am leaving as an enlightened individual who knows what is required to be a Software Developer and now I have a Solid foundation to build upon.
